I'm a writer and an editor. The founder and CEO of Inspiration for Writers, an editing and critiquing service for aspiring writers, I have assisted dozens of writers in achieving their publishing dreams. I am on the editorial staff of Rosedog.com and Author-me.com, and currently serve as the publication consultant for Confluence Literary Magazine. Several of my short stories have won awards and have been published in various literary magazines and anthologies, including Mountain Voices, Mountain Echoes, Gambit, The Northwestern, Confluence, West Virginia United Methodist, Writers Digest and others. I am past president of the Ohio Valley Literary Group and president emeritus of West Virginia Writers, Inc., and was the recipient of the 2002 Artsbridge Arts Award for Literature.
I live with my husband Butch, my three lovely daughters--Roxanne, 20, a dance major at Wright State University; Pam, 17, a senior in high school; and Stacy, 16, a sophomore in high school--Jessie the psychotic collie and Murphy the Miracle Cat.
